The Hearing Remote app, developed by Sonova AG, is a free lifestyle application available for Android devices. This app is designed to remotely control select hearing aids with Bluetooth connectivity. With the Hearing Remote app, you can control your hearing aids' volume, mute and unmute, and change programs. Additionally, you can personalize the sound of your hearing aids using a 3-band equalizer and receive remote adjustments sent from your hearing healthcare provider through remote adjust.
The app also provides up to six pre-set manual programs that can be added and customized directly through the app. You can customize manual programs with Reduce Noise, Enhance Speech, and Focus Mic controls and temporarily boost speech or listening comfort while in the automatic program. The Hearing Remote app also provides tutor notifications on how to care for and maintain your hearing aids, adjust the balance between streamed signals and amplified sounds, and adjust tinnitus masker. You can also access status information such as battery charge status and wearing time.
Please note that some of the features mentioned above are only available on newer generation hearing instruments. The Hearing Remote app is a convenient tool for individuals with hearing aids to control and personalize their hearing experience.
